The Braeside Park village enjoys both the convenience of city living and the village atmosphere of Berwick.
It is conveniently located next to the main shopping centre and close to a range of medical services, including two hospitals.
Buildings are maintained to a high standard, and grounds and gardens provide charm and ambience. Our maintenance staff respond to residents’ maintenance requests and ensure homes are maintained to a high standard.
For added peace of mind, we provide a 24-hour emergency call system and daily cottage checks by our caring staff ensures residents’ wellbeing.
Should a resident’s care needs change, there is the security of knowing they can transfer into the next level of care within our services.
LOCATION
Braeside Park is located next to the St John of God Hospital and is close to the shopping centre, doctors, dentist, elderly citizens’ club and transport, making it an ideal location for a retirement village. Berwick railway station is in walking distance of the village and there are regular bus runs

INDEPENDENT LIVING
The 34 homes provide independent living accommodation and are appropriate for both couples and single people.
All homes are light and airy, and have individual outdoor access, gardens and living areas and substantial private space. There is off street car parking for residents.
Affordable meals are available seven days a week for residents who living independently.
While most of the independent homes have one bedroom, there are three two-bedroom homes.
ASSISTED LIVING
The 14 serviced studio style apartments are suited to single people only.
The serviced apartments are ideal for people still able to live independently, but needing some domestic support and the convenience of meals prepared in our on-site kitchen.
A main meal is served in the communal dining room at lunchtime, and other meals are made available for eating in either the dining room or residents’ own rooms.
Our assisted living staff conduct daily rounds to check residents’ well-being and can assist frailer residents to remain in their cottages.
This personalised service allows our residents to remain living in these homes for as long as they are able, and until they require more specialised care at our Liscombe House aged care facility.
ACTIVITIES
The residents are encouraged to join committees and be active participants. At Braeside Park residents have their own Activities Committee, and make use of their well-appointed community room with a weekly “chat’n’chew” and a variety of social, health and wellbeing activities.
A hairdresser and podiatrist visit regularly.
